Milking
Udder secretory tissue development is influenced by litter size, so first off we want to have does in very good health at mating, primed to take the buck. Over late pregnancy trace element mineral vitamin inputs designed to increase maternal foetal transfer and target metabolic excellence set does up for a successful birth and kids for a lively start. Free access options allow individuals especially in housed operations to top themselves up as required. Exceptional milk production requires high brix forage and maximum voluntary intake – itself improved with high brix forage.

MILKING DOE MIXER & PELLET PREMIX™
Designed to be added to a mixer wagon or added to a pellet when manufactured, this premix provides actives as for the MILKING DOE MEUSLI PREMIX though is not blended in a base and does not contain lime flour (which is added by mill or to wagon).

ROBUST™
The loose format ROBUST lick is suitable as a free access “double check” to check if does are getting what they need from the above premixes, and it allows individuals to top themselves up if required. Both the loose format and the block format are suitable for Bucks. The blocks work well for housed young goats – especially the 2.5kg blocks for pens of kids and this format helps prevent the risk of excess intake if hosed stock have been without minerals for an extended period.

QUICKSHIFT™
Weaning is undoubtedly a stressful time which increases the requirement for nutrients, especially vitamins, yet the supply from the rumen is typically reduced. Changing diets, especially when it is onto brassica crops, can give rumen microbes a setback – it takes time for them to transition and often vitamin production is impaired during this time. The design of QUICKSHIFT aims to cover for this interruption, ensure energy metabolism is unaffected, stimulate rumen microbes and ensure appetite is maintained. It is given as a drench or added to feed at weaning or at the time of a feed change and repeated ten days to two weeks later.

SURE-n-SOUND™
SURE-n-SOUND was developed to supply a boost of nutrients to enhance immune function, for the health and healing of nerve tissue, cartilage and skin (including that between the hooves, and the hoof itself) and also the integrity and functioning of the mucous membranes (lungs, eyes, gut). Issues include scald, pleurisy, pink-eye, scabby mouth. Ideally it should be used primarily as a preventative nutritional measure - warm wet or dry dusty conditions, seed heads and or thistles.

CARBO-BOOST™
Carbohydrate starts as sugar made during photosynthesis. It provides the energy that fuels everything from rumen bug utilisation of feed nitrogen (protein manufacture) to blood sugar for energy. Measured as Brix, it has a direct positive influence on milk yield through improved feed quality and palatability (intake). CARBO-BOOST is designed to increase soluble carbohydrate levels in pasture, crops and lucerne.
